ClearEdge provides fishing-focused map layers, forecasts, ocean data, weather data, buoy observations, and saved spot tools for informational and planning purposes only.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ClearEdge, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Informational Use Only
ClearEdge is not a navigation system, safety system, emergency service, or substitute for official marine forecasts, charts, notices, or seamanship. Ocean, weather, wind, wave, satellite, buoy, depth, and forecast information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or unsuitable for your specific conditions.
You are responsible for verifying conditions using official sources and making safe decisions before and during any trip on the water.
3. No Safety Guarantee
ClearEdge does not guarantee safe fishing, boating, navigation, weather windows, sea state, water temperature, chlorophyll conditions, or fish presence. Use your own judgment and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety requirements.
4. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe the service is being misused or if continued access could create technical, legal, or security risk.
5. User Content and Saved Spots
You may save fishing spots, names, notes, and related information. You are responsible for the information you enter. Do not enter information that you do not have the right to store or use.
6. Third-Party Data
ClearEdge uses data from third-party and public sources, which may include government, scientific, satellite, weather, oceanographic, and mapping sources. Those sources may change, fail, update, delay, or restrict access without notice.
7. Availability
We may change, interrupt, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use ClearEdge to interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload systems, reverse engineer restricted parts of the service, or use the service in violation of law.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
ClearEdge is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearEdge and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for losses related to boating decisions, weather decisions, fishing decisions, data errors, service outages, or reliance on the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ClearEdge after changes means you accept the updated terms.
